Reading many comics

So recently I have gotten back into reading manga, after having finished my last book (I don't remember what that was). So I've read through the entire series of Rosario Vampire. Part 1 that is. It's about a boy who is enrolled in a high school for monsters, him being the only human there, as humans are forbidden to enter, and he would be killed if anyone found out. As soon as Tsukune (the boy) arrives, he is run over by a girl named Moka, who he falls in love with, and she reveals she is a vampire and bites him. It's actually a comedy series, where all the girls at school want to be with Tsukune for one reason or another, and they join him in the newspaper club, which is almost completely made up of girls who like Tsukune.
Another series I've been reading is Yureka, or id_entity. This one starts off as a funny series, but later on it becomes alot darker. In the MMORPG, Lost Saga, Roto, a mage, and his friends Ah-Dol and Boromid are part of one of the most powerful groups in the game, which they call team Triple Threat. The first volume just introduces all of the characters, and in volume two, the story really starts. Roto (I can't remember his real name) finds a player's card, with Yureka written on it. When he gets home, he accidentally puts in the card, and finds himself playing as a girl. He spies on his friends, pretending to be Yureka. However, the next time he logs on, as Roto, he finds Yureka also there, despite the fact he still has her player card in his bedroom. After that, she becomes a permanent member of their team, though they never change their name officially.
In other, non-manga news, I've bought myself a Dark Eldar raider, which I hope will let me get the wyches into combat without being gunned down by a punisher cannon. I also hope to upload anothe picture soon, maybe this weekend

New things, darned dark

Okay, last Friday at games night we had a game based around one team having a Baneblade and the other a Stompa. Two 1/1296 chance things happened. The stompa shot the baneblade, getting 3 chain reactions (6s) and then rolling a 6 for the explosion type. It then exploded and wiped out our entire army. The the next turn the stompa repaired the two points of damage my Vindicare had done to it. The turn after, the Vindicare penetrated it, getting 4 chain reactions on the stompa and destroying it. It didn't wipe out their army though.
Next game I was allowed to try out 1000 points of Dark Eldar. I had 2 5-man Kabalite squads, a raider, a venom, 2 razorwing jetfighters, a talos, and 5 scourges. It was a 4 way battle, between me, Gray knights (Using a large squad of Paladins), Necrons (with the nightbringer) and tyranids. I got the first turn and went straight for the 'nids. I fired all 8 necrotoxin missiles, killing the entire gaunt brood and all but two Ymargil genestealers. The hive tyrant charged my scourges, killing one, and the leader with power weapon took a wound off the hive tyrant. My talos charged in, taking no damage from the tyrant and pulverizing it in return. My warriors fought a 5 man GK strike squad, and killed them after losing one of my squads to running off.  The razorwings were saved numerous times by the flickerfield, night shields doing nothing. One of the Tyranid warriors was gunned down, while the other and the prime was attacked by the talos, who insta-killed the warrior, and took two wounds off the prime, who was then killed by the ichor injector. The prime used rending to take a second wound off the talos. On the last turn I managed to take 3 wounds off the nightbringer by firing every poisoned weapon and dark lance I had at it. Some rippers appeared behind the last two kabalite.
I was extremely happy with the 80 points from the nectotoxin missiles wiping out almost two squads on turn 1. The talos was amazing, especially with the upgrades. I completely forgot to mount the warriors on their transports, though.
I think I shall start a Dark Eldar army.I've always wanted scourges, because of their models, especially the wings. And a turn 1 annihilation is always good.

In other news, Evanesence has released their single, What You Want, onto iTunes, and I have added a link to the website and lyrics on youtube on my Music page.

What do you think?

I have (more or less) finished my daemon prince, and I have also built a doomsday device for the upcoming Apocalypse game. Datasheets are here. I hope it works when I use it. On a 12 on the effects table, it has a 6d6 radius explosion range, instantly "destroying all matter". I guess this includes terrain and super heavies. They are still allowed to take invulnerable saves against it, though. My doomsday device is a black bunker, made out of cardboard, and the story is that there are expendable cultists inside pressing buttons to make it go off. I was going to make a giant missile, but it doesn't just explode, it has other effects, like launching apocalyptic barrages, firing d6 beams of destruction, or d3+2 apocalyptic blasts. Or it might just not work. I will post pictures of both of them later. I am not the best painter.
Also, a while back I mentioned that I was writing a book. Well, I decided to write a prequel instead, on how all the characters meet each other. Also to put down ideas that I had for another character that isn't in the first book I was writing. I am learning to draw in pencil; I can draw, but I can't to the full shading that you see in pictures like this one.
I will upload pictures in my next post.
My youtube video is up, but without sound for some reason. It asked me to pick a new song, so I did, but it said I already had a request for a song change.

MWAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!

Pyro's Mildly Disturbing mask
Two evil things: one, halloween, and there are new maps, and two, I started a 40k Chaos Daemons army. First, I'll talk about a TF2 map: Mann Manor. This map is a haunted mansion. When you play on it, it is a three point CP map. BUT there are two changes to this map. First, occasionally gifts will appear, and whoever picks one up first gets a halloween mask, one of nine one for each class, but anyone can wear any hat. There masks aren't as interesting as the Mildly Disturbing Halloween Mask, which for the pyro has a picture of a red duck with an ! above it's head. Cute. But the main feature of this map is the "Horseless Headless Horsemann" (yes, with two ns"). If you assist in dealing a near fatal or fatal (actually, temporarily fatal) attack, you will get a hat called "The Horseless Headless Horsemann's Head", which is an evil pumpkin head. If your near fatal blow was a melee attack, you will also receive some haunted metal (which I don't have yet:(), which can be used in crafting "The Horseless Headless Horsemann's Skullcutter", (if I have to write that ONE MORE TIME...) or something like that. It's basically a fancy eyelander. Just to show you've beaten him in melee, which is not easy, seeing he has a one hit kill melee attack, and (I think) 2000 HP + 300 per player in-game. He can't kill ubercharged people or scouts using BONK! punch, and a spy using the dead ringer won't usually be killed (someone could work out how much damage he does, since you'd multiply the lost HP by 10 since the dead ringer absorbs 90% of damage.
And the Chaos Daemons, well, I've only got 20 bloodletters and Skulltaker, and I'm thinking of expanding with a Daemon Prince. Oh well.

Auscon 4

Last weekend, I went to Aussiecon 4, where I found out about a few things, like writing, drawing, and generally SF, supernatural, and fantasy. I found out that other people really like Haibane Renmei, which I watched. The masquerade was very short though, with only a few people in it. I also got a copy of Sabriel signed by Garth Nix.
Also, later in the week, I bought a space marine tactical squad, which I equipped with a meltagun, and a power sword for the sergeant from my assault marines. I swapped the sergeant's left arm to hold a bolter, and also gave another marine a pistol and bolter, one in each hand, which is actually the standard loadout for a tactical marine.
I'm also going to make a page where I list things I like, and I am hoping to include links later.
